Important company – end client – is looking for a SalesForce Project Manager - Architect (in Madrid) 

The main purpose of the SALESFORCE Business Systems Analyst role is to understand and document business processes, determine user and system requirements.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
As directed to work independently or as part of the project team on approved projects in analysing requirements and preparing more detailed specifications for specific work packages as agreed by the IT Management Team.

To prepare written or verbal reports summarising the findings of research and analysis and make recommendations on business processes, software applications or other issues. The jobholder will required to write well-argued and well-presented proposals with the objective of securing Senior Manager Approval.

The jobholder is required to gather, understand and document business processes based on current practices and then assist with process reviews to identify and implement best practices.

The jobholder is expected to match processes to software, identify shortcomings with systems and suggest how applications may be made to better fit users and business requirements.

The job may involve making formal presentations to staff at all levels.

The jobholder will be responsible for taking ideas and improvement proposals and conducting cost benefit reviews to establish whether the ideas have potential merit for further investigation. This will include prioritising areas of further research and consolidating appropriate ideas to achieve better cost/benefit returns and more manageable projects.

The jobholder is required to research ideas / proposals, which may include Internet research, conducting interviews with staff internally, holding workshops, meeting with external consultants and suppliers, working alongside them in any investigations and consultancy work that they are commissioned to do for the Group.
To manage the processing of Improvement Proposals and to assist in other small-scale projects. The jobholder will contribute to or independently produce Feasibility Studies.

The job holder will be responsible for writing functional specifications based on analysis of the business requirements and knowledge of software processes, then assisting with the process of selecting the most appropriate solution to meet the identified requirements, whether this be an external software package from a supplier or the development of bespoke software.
The work may also involve analysing the requirements for reports from existing and new systems and developing specifications that can then be passed to the report developer for development.
The work will also include project management of small projects, whereby the jobholder will be required to produce standard project reports, manage resources appropriately and be responsible for reporting progress to a designated Project Board.

The job will require a good level of technical awareness of the potential uses of IT and the ability to assess whether proposals will be compatible with the Groups’ existing IT infrastructure. This will entail keeping abreast of new software and other developments and trends which may have relevance for the Company.
To be aware of security issues relating to the information value for new system proposals.

Experience:
Specific competence and expertise in business analysis / system analysis techniques is required. The role will require the use of a variety of analysis tools including information audits, process modelling, cost benefit analysis, and critical path analysis amongst others.
The successful candidate will have a good level of commercial awareness. A key skill will be the ability to see broader picture of how systems can and might fit together as will the ability to assess potential levels of user and business management interest and enthusiasm in any possible IT developments.
The position requires a wide general knowledge of IT and especially general commercial and construction specific application software together with a working knowledge of existing systems in order to relate business requirements to IT solutions.
